Feline Fierce: My Cat Makeup Tutorial

I’ve teamed up with the wonderful guys at Boots to show you my take on what’s possibly the most famous Halloween makeup look of all time I drew influences from post apocalyptic-style makeup, and also wanted to do the multiple shades found in leopard print justice by layering the colours. I lined the lids with Collection’s 24-hour felt tip liner, and cut my crease for a touch of precision with Bourjois’ gold 24-hour eyeshadow. A cat look really is the most versatile look for Halloween, but if you’re looking for a little bit more inspiration, you should definitely check out Boot’s Cat Halloween Makeup page.

I’m up for a Blogosphere Award!

Back in March I wrote about the mind-boggling fact that I’d been featured in Blogosphere Magazine’s Spotlight series, something I felt super honoured to be a part of (you can read about it all here) and this week I found out I’ve been nominated for the ‘Beauty Influencer of the Year’ category in the Blogosphere Awards As bloggers, there’s nothing quite like recognition or validation, and although it’s not something we should be defined by, I feel like it’s a real boost when you’re doubting yourself. It’s an alien feeling to be up for an award as for years I’ve been more of an onlooker to these things, so I want to say to those who might feel a little put out at not being nominated – Don’t let anything define you, or make you feel like you haven’t achieved amazing things.

My Experience with Lip Fillers

The procedure was my choice, and it isn’t me saying I love big pouts, or think thin lips are awful Of course I can’t speak for your experience, but I can honestly say this method seems like the best one because let’s face it guys, you’re getting a needle in the lips… My family said nothing, no-one commented on any of my Insta posts – the swelling wasn’t too bad, it kinda just made everything go a little tighter, so talking felt weird for the first 12 hours, but that was about it. My body reacts a lot to trauma, so I feel like I was more swollen than the average person and even that wasn’t bad.

I Did Kayle’s Drag Make-Up!

Beauty are two things I’m incredible obsessed with, so when the makeup brand released their Divine palette, I died. If you follow me on Instagram, you’ll have seen that I posted my look earlier on in the year, but I also had the idea to drag Kayle up too! I’d left the lid off my Pritt Stick whilst doing my look, and by the time I got round to him, it was shrivelled up! For those a little wary of colour, the Divine palette helps ease you in with a soft yet striking blue ‘waters’, and the deep metallic ‘Baltimore’. ‘
