At that time, Alex and her fiance, Alex (I know, the same name thing got tricky at times haha) were still deciding whether or not to have their wedding here in the states or in Cancun, Mexico. We flew in a couple of days before their wedding to ensure that we got there on time as well as to photograph their rehearsal dinner. We got the chance to photograph the guys playing on the beach before they got ready and it was so much fun. We had Alex, the bride, get in her stunning gown (courtesy of the one and only Bliss Bridal Salon) on the spacious patio of their suite with all of her ladies helping her.

Morganne had planned a wedding gift in mind for her dad, so we took a sweet photograph the day of her bridals that she framed and gave to him when they did their special first look. I cannot wait to share with you all soon the blog from Morganne and Tyler’s wedding day.
We had an amazing time during their engagement session and I knew their wedding would be just the same. We spent the first couple of hours on Eve and Justin’s wedding day with Eve and her girls, getting them ready with hair, make-up, and into their gowns. Their ceremony at the Marty Leonard Chapel was so beautiful and fully grounded in Christ and the unity of their marriage. DJ Rod Baker, as usual, did an amazing job at keeping everyone on their feet and it was a night to remember.
I love taking photographs and getting creative, don’t get me wrong, but there is something so special about being able to say at the end of it all that I pursued and cultivated some special friendships. We laughed until our stomachs hurt and by the end of it, I felt like I had known them for a lifetime. Starting off the session at the Botanic Gardens of Fort Worth allowed the couple to start in their normal day to day clothes and gave such a fun feel of nature to their session. We transitioned over to the Sundance Square area in Downtown Fort Worth to add a more city feel vibe to the second half of their session.
