Or so I thought, until Madi and Patrick decided to have an elopement style ceremony at the greenhouse at the Birmingham Botanical Gardens and it was so sweet and special. In addition to the citrus garden, which is my favorite in the greenhouse, we did two first looks in the cactus garden, Madi with both Jax and Patrick. As long as I’ve known Madi (we actually met when I shot Jax’s newborn session years ago! ) Really excited to share these images, and excited to be blogging the same day I’m delivering the full gallery, it’s like I’ve got my life together or something.

I’ve known Kristen’s family for a while, since her brother and sis-in-law are Bryanna and Kevin, whose wedding I shot in 2014 (see their gorg blog post here) and Bryanna is the pretty lady behind Vera Flora, my number one recommended florist and also who did the florals at this wedding.
