A note from our President and Founder, John Spesak, on July 6, announcing the 20th Anniversary of SIS: Today, on July 6, 1999, our company was incorporated and commenced the incredible journey we have been on together. We can turn these moments into landmark events or we can accept that landmark events are simply fleeting moments. If I could thank each of you for one thing on the birthday of SIS, I’d thank you for giving me all the feelings, experiences and memories we have shared. Our goal from the beginning was to laugh often and much; to win the respect of intelligent people, sharing our pride with our families; to earn the appreciation of honest critics and endure the betrayal of false friends; to appreciate beauty; to find the best in others.

During the early morning hours of January 9, 2019, two employees of Security Industry Specialists, Inc. This incident occurred on the 101 freeway near San Jose, California. Out of respect for our employees and their families, SIS will not release further details on this incident. SIS requests that the public and media respect the privacy of those affected by this tragic event.

Spencer Lindsay, a Seattle Security Specialist, began his sauce business with a summer barbecue at our Seattle client site. Since appearing in a Seattle Times feature 6 months ago, his business has taken off. I didn’t know how the Times article would impact my business. But I can’t be too mad because the Seattle Times article changed my business.
