When we arrived in Dominical we headed to get some grub at Tortilla Flats, a popular beach-side restaurant that also offers cheap rooms for rent.

I had prepurchased a bus ticket from San Jose to Panama City, as you need proof of exit from Costa Rica before you even leave the states. Once in the border town, Paso Canoas, the bus driver assisted everyone on the bus through the process – Paying an exit tax ($7, crazy I know) and getting our passport stamped. So I tried to find out how I could get back to Costa Rica, devising outrageous plans and texting everyone I know at the border. So, the next day I bought a bus ticket from Panama City to Paso Canoas, a border town between Panama and Costa Rica.
