my goal for this year was 50 books and we’re almost there! here’s the 8 i recommend so far: 1. you should read all of emily henrys book, but this one may have been my favorite 2. one of the cutest by abby jimenez, but i recommend reading the books in order. she ties everything together so seamlessly and the humor is 👌🏼 3. another abby book and it was flawless. emotional and romantic and sweet and funny 4. my fave thriller author. her plot twists are always so perfect. please read the series before reading this one, everything ties together in the end 5. another abby book… just read all of them in order 6. one of my faves of the year. childhood friends to lovers to so much drama. couldn’t put it down 7. read it. the whole series, but this was my favorite one. not usually into fantasy, but the acotar series gripped me 8. a thriller that had me guessing until the very end

my diet is all inclusive ✌🏼 no foods left behind. i am going to be so real and honest with all of you and let you know that there is not one diet under the sun that i have not tried. but the best i felt? with no restrictions at all. from personal experience, not only do diets mess with your physical health, but they take up so much of your mental capacity that there simply is not space for anything else. so when i let the diets go, i suddenly had room in my life for everything else.

getting real and raw today ✌🏼 social media can be fun and light, but it should also be real. i’m so happy you’re here and that you let me share all of me with all of you!

healing is like this: 📈📉📈📉📈 not everyday is perfect and that’s totally ok. some days i feel strong inside and out and some days i’m not feeling the most confident in my own skin. but i think what helps me get past the lower days is remembering why i chose to heal my relationship with food and my body. i chose to heal for days like this one. i chose to put my physical and mental health first so i could wear a fun outfit and get a snack at the arena and smile and cheer even on a not so good day. i chose to remember each day for the happy and exciting and unforgettable moments and not let those be overshadowed by my food fears or lack of confidence.

healing means actually enjoying your coffee ☕️ if you’re the kind of person that loves a black iced coffee then by all means, don’t let me stop you. but if you are holding yourself back from adding sweetener into your coffee because you’re afraid of the extra sugar, let me just go ahead and tell you that that extra sugar is so worth it. a little extra sugar in your coffee won’t ruin your day and it won’t ruin the progress of whatever journey you’re on and it just tastes so good it’ll make you so much happier than the bitter coffee you’re telling yourself you like.

Fudgy Coconut Brownies

This dessert is gluten free, dairy free, and refined sugar free! Pour the batter into a lined 8×8 brownie dishand drizzle with almond butter. Pour the almond butter into lines and then usea toothpick to pull across the lines to create the design. A totally optional step,but who doesn’t love the almond butter?

Chocolate and Vanilla Orange Marble Cake

It’s definitely one of the more complicated recipes I have ever shared, but it’s still gluten free, dairy free, and refined sugar free. If you follow the recipe, it should all make sense, but never hesitate to leave me a comment and ask anything 🙂 Hope you guys love this one as much as I do • 1/4 cup orange juice (from one whole orange) Keep one half to the side and with the other half: melt the 1/2 chocolate bar and add it into the mixture with the cacao powder. To create the marble effect: spoon some vanilla cake mix into clumps on bottom, fill in the spaces with the chocolate, and then use a toothpick to swirl one flavor into the other.

Lemon Cookie Cups

I love to have warm lemon water every morning, I love to use lemon juice as my salad dressing, and freshly squeezed lemonade makes any hot day infinitely better. Especially when the seasons start to change and the heat returns, I love playing around with citrusy fruits in order to make refreshing desserts perfect for a hot summer day. I found a dairy free whip cream at the grocery store for the filling and then rolled with this recipe to make the little cups! Using a mini muffin tin, turn it upside down and spray it with a little avocado or coconut oil.

Chocolate Orange Frosting

and I was becoming impatient, so I’ve started playing around with making my own recipe and this one did not disappoint. It’s perfectly creamy and perfectly sweet without all the added chemicals and random words you’ve never heard of and can’t pronounce. This recipe will work with a regular sweet potato, but the color of the frosting will change. Once the potato is very soft, throw 1/2 cup of the mash into a food processor
