Hello! As a woman who has always wanted to be her own boss, but had a difficult time finding the right outlet for my creative talents. My search was endless. My name is Olivia, but it did not start out as such. I am a transgender woman who discovered her true self in March of 2015. My story is the same as a lot of other transgender women who discover their true selves late in life. I always knew, even at a young age, that I was ‘special’ and gravitated more towards the girls and their activities than the boys and what they were doing. I still played with army men and Tonka Trucks but found myself alone most of the time because I did not fit into any of the groups around me. Because of the times I grew up in, the 1960s, I had to hide these ‘feelings’ I had and did all the things that men were to do. I received a degree in law enforcement, joined the military, became a medic, and was married three times (no children). I was, and still am, conservative and Christian. My faith in Heavenly Father always has been and will forever be my guiding light. Before March of 2015, I was not a supporter of the LGTB+ community, nor did I even know or understand what transgender was. What a shock it was it was for me the morning I woke up and accepted my true self as Olivia! I still am, as I said, conservative and Christian. I will never lose these values as these are the values that made me the person I am today. But I do see the discrimination faced by people every day for just trying to live their true selves. In most states in this “God Fearing” and open and free country that we live in a transgender person, can be fired, denied housing, disqualified for military service, refused employment, and quality medical care just because they are transgender and for no other reason. I am going to be reviewing products, services, and business opportunities with the transgender community in mind. I have started my own affiliate marketing business with several goals in mind. These goals are; ☺ To allow me to generate an income that will allow me to continue to this as my full-time business ☺ To research, evaluate, and review products and services on my site ladysnowreviews.wordpress.com so that others may consider this information when making a purchase ☺ To review, examine, and evaluate different business opportunities to assist people who are looking for opportunities to create additional or replacing their income find the opportunity that most fits their need and personality I do not make, nor can I make any guarantees for any products, services, or business I review. Each person has their own unique experience with each product, service, and business opportunity. My main goal for my affiliate marketing business and reviewing various business opportunities is for others in the transgender community to find a business opportunity that fits within their unique personality or lifestyle, and that allows them to create, develop, and earn an income that will enable them to become their own boss so that they no longer live in fear of being discriminated against for living their true selves. Becoming your own boss and having the income to live the life that you desire is so rewarding and a goal for most people. And then to be able to share this information with others so that they can also become independent is even more rewarding.
I get a discount on my renters’ insurance because of the guard mode built into the Alexa system which I use when I am not at home (check with your insurance agent to see if this qualifies with them.) New skills, updates, and devices are being developed for Alexa all the time, and Echo Dots just keep getting smarter with them. There are also several Facebook groups dedicated to Alexa and Echo users and have provided me with a lot of beneficial information and suggestions about my many devices. Home automation is the wave of the future, and devices as the Echo, Echo Dot, and the many others are just touching the surface.
Even though WA’s Boot Camp was not as challenging as the boot camp at the US Army Infantry Training Center at Ft. Trying to do it from the relative comfort of my apartment with my five kitties running around me, my partner watching TV and wanting to talk, trying to think of markets, topics, products, designs, SEO’s, links, keywords, Googles, Yahoos, Bings, WordPress, cookies, sugarplums, and everything else I found the Boot Camp training to be a little more in-depth towards marketing WA out of the gate. The keyword search tool WA provides allows for 30 searches for free members and unlimited searches for premium members.
I am about halfway through my WA (Wealthy Affiliates) training and have learned quite a bit about setting up a WordPress.com site. Which means I turn to YouTube for more information on how to continue to set things up. With the holidays and such, lack of time has been a factor completing training and getting everything done when I wanted it done. I also have been very busy figuring out just how to use the little bit of knowledge that I do have as I go along so that when I do “go live” I will be 100%!
In December of 2017, I again injured at work, and thanks to a substandard worker’s compensation system in California, a simple injury turned into a permanent shoulder disability and a significant range of motion loss for me after two years of treatments and red-tape. As I was begging my Church to help pay rent for the third month in a row because the worker’s compensation insurance company was delaying my permanent disability benefits, I started to look for ways to improve my situation overall in life. At the end of 2019, having no income and having to beg to pay rent, $150 negative in the bank, cellphone ready to be shut off, and all my other services already canceled, my mind changed.
