Here’s what’s currently going on in my life this month. Current book Just finished up reading about all things baby-led weaning, which was interesting. Still reading this devotional book for the mom’s group I’m co-leading, and just started re-reading this book that I enjoyed a lot last year. Current cuteness Sadie in a Carhartt shirt!

Thankfully, Malcolm’s little jaunt in the air ducts was nothing serious, but Lola really scared us. The craziness of our cat walking in our air ducts and our dog eating fatally toxic food got me thinking about how I always have to be aware of keeping them safe. I have to constantly consider things like whether or not Lola will jump on the counter to reach food or what I’ll do if Malcolm slips outside while a door is open. Their wireless security system is pet-friendly, and I figured if it could save even one pet owner from having to force their dog puke or lure their cat out of air ducts, then it’s totally worth sharing!

Can’t stop, won’t stop 😉 Monday December 24th –> Baked pretzel hugs in the morning, went to my parents house to exchange gifts with Hannah and Josh, attended our church’s Christmas Eve service, and went to my mother-in-laws afterwards. Woke up before Jimmy and Sadie and read the story of Jesus’ birth while I sipped my coffee and hung out with the pets. We kept it simple and gave Sadie a book about the first Christmas. My sister-in-law got engaged, Hannah and Josh have a healthy baby girl, and Jimmy and I spent our first Christmas with sweet Sadie Mae.
