Hopefully, this one's a bit easier. Write down your health goals. Rather than focusing on a number, focus on behaviors that will lead you to whatever your healthy weight is. Ideas: *By the end of the year, I will eat 4-5 servings of vegetables per day *By the end of the year, I will be able to run a 5K *Average 8 hours of sleep per night. *I will enjoy 2 stress-relieving activities per week, every week, for the rest of the year. Aim for 7-9 hours per night. How important is getting enough sleep? It's so important actually, that even if you're perfect in every other manner of health management if you don't get enough sleep, it won't matter. Inadequate sleep (either not enough or of poor quality) can lead to mental fog or confusion, weight gain, heart disease, poor glucose management, and more. So figure out what time you need to be asleep for a good day tomorrow. Schedule the rest of your day so that you're in bed ready to sleep by that time. Worried that you won't be able to finish that big project? Take a break and leave it for tomorrow. Walking in a green environment, such as a park, appears to have a greater effect on reducing anxiety than walking on a treadmill or down a city street.
