Oh by the way, I don't actually photoshop my images so you will be able to see that I got horrifically sunburnt the other day and my arms are lobster red - WEAR SUNSCREEN, seriously House of Fraser is one of my most favourite companies because they have such a huge variety of brands under one roof, which means there is something for everyone. I fell in love with this sleeveless embellished bodycon dress from Lace and Beads when I saw it - immediately my mind was filled with special occasions like garden parties, my birthday and glam dinners out where I would love to wear this dress to. In this particular outfit, I styled it for a fun summer evening out with pastel pinks as the colour of the dress is a gorgeous pale mint colour with white sequins. The dress is a statement itself so usually I would wear it with nude heels and a classic watch with a clutch bag, however I wanted to inject a little girly spark into the look
I have had thoughts about this for ages, but I finally picked out a name and I am happy to say that this year I will be working on the beginning of my new cookery blog and YouTube channel! Also, please bear with me as I still need to plan a lot of things with this blog so it may take some time to go live. I'm kind of a self sufficient lady; I have run this blog with passion, sweat and occasionally tears from both happiness and sadness; I have tried so many things most of which have been true life lessons; I have the worlds naughtiest dog which I manage to keep under control most of the time... I have wanted to post an update of what's going on in my world but never really knew what to say or what to write, but I feel like now is the perfect time to let you guys in as I finally feel like I've had some time to think and reflect, as cheesy as it sounds.
Military has cropped up in fashion every two years and has been one of the biggest trends for SS15 - I can see the military inspired trend rolling out to AW15 too, so I have invested into this gorgeous belted dress from ASOS.I love the tailoring of this dress, and I don't usually like chunky belts however this one compliments the style of the dress and is perfect for shaping your figure. I couldn't decide whether to go for the khaki version, or the black version of this dress but in the end I thought this would be a great dress to wear both out and for work so I opted for black as it will also look great with black opaque tights. Dressing for a chilled evening out, I paired the dress with a smart bowler bag and some statement heels (I absolutely LOVE the transparent heel on those sandals! ) plus a bit of mixed and matched bling in the form of stackable rings.
