The consumer, as a whole, didn’t understand the fashion business as a business, and I think you guys and Business of Fashion and all the editors who write about the business have really changed that perception. Because Anna has always viewed fashion as a business, from how she connects designers to funding, or how she introduces designers to one of the big conglomerates, or how she sees that retail interacts with Fashion’s Night Out, there’s a real business goal behind it. They said, Net-a-Porter is looking for someone to run a new business for them focused on the discount market and they had already done quite a lot of the work, but they need someone to do the launch and run the business and define the strategy and define what the positioning is, etc. The buying teams meet with the brands’ commercial teams at market, same as full-price, because it’s a great opportunity to talk about sales, see what’s coming, understand what’s happening at full price.

The only scent I wear during the summer, when I’ve washed away the day, is Jo Malone London’s Wood Sage & Sea Salt Cologne. My skin is dry at the best of times, so after all the salt water, I like to hydrate and nourish my skin with Jo Malone London Body Crème. After years of searching, I’ve found the two perfect colourists: Christine at Valonz in Sydney and Christopher-John at Privé in New York, which is slightly impractical considering I live in London! I love how the salt water gives my hair lots of body and a natural curl – which is lucky considering my parents live in Noosa and my husband’s parents live on Sydney’s Northern beaches.

I am really excited to share my Jimmy Choo Chalet-Chic Campaign, shot in Zermatt, Switzerland, with eight of the world’s biggest digital influencers. The Snow-Choos campaign 0n top of the Matterhorn (check it out by clicking here) and this one, in a beautiful chalet at night. Having shot a similar campaign with Jimmy Choo in Marrakesh,  it was really exciting doing it again with a new group of girls and in an entirely different (and MUCH COLDER) location. The beautiful resort Cervo Zermatt – which kindly opened their resort early to accomodate us, my incredible assistant Matteo, the fantastic hair and make-up team and of course, the 8 beautiful girls who were willing to give it their all, in sub zero temperatures, to create these images
