Q+A with PLANS

CA: We’ve been Listening to ‘The Maine’s’ new release and have been super excited about the new ‘Heart Attack Man’ stuff. CA: We really strive to reach people on a personal level with our music. We love performing “Sleep” and “Answering Machine” but the few new songs we’ve been playing just feel right. CA: I think our biggest accomplishment is the people we’ve reached and the friends we’ve made.

Stay Tuned: April 2019

I didn’t have a lot of friends growing up, so I spent a lot of time and energy into teaching myself how to play, sing, and write songs. Similar to Jon’s story, in high school I got involved with the church band and did that type of thing up through college, where I studied music. While I no longer tour with him, we’ve still made all of his records together, which is always a sweet reminder of how much music can tie a friendship together over several year, showing you where you’ve come from and where you’re trying to go. Jonny: I’ve been involved in a lot of music-related projects over the years.

James Dant: Rebranded

Your store was always focused on menswear and goods for men, but your recent rebrand has made some adjustments to who you hope will shop your store. What’s one product in your store that you really love and recommend to just about anybody who walks into the store and why? TD: It’s crazy to imagine getting to 10 years even after five, but I honestly just hope for a slow and steady evolution. The ever-changing fashion market makes evolving easy, but our evolution is store-wide from interior design and customer experience to the product we carry.

‘Rebloomed Clothing’ Upcycles Sustainably

Daisy May: I started Rebloomed at the beginning of 2017, right before I was set to graduate high school. I know a lot of people who do thrifting here in Indianapolis and since I don’t have a lot of time to go out and thrift like I used to, I have my buyers, as I call them. They haven’t helped me personally with Rebloomed but their support itself is helpful. I’ve been thinking a lot about that and honestly, I don’t know.
