Bloomin' Bouquets is a unique floral and event design company located in the Metro Atlanta Area!
Back in January, we had the pleasure of designing for Jenny + Stephen’s big day. The couple got married at the Greek Orthodox Cathedral and followed the ceremony with a lively reception at the fabulous Fox Theatre here in Atlanta, GA. We loved how they incorporated bold, rich tones to compliment the intractely detailed spaces. Not afraid to embrace the unique styles of each venue, their florals included golden roses, deep purple ranunculs and olive greenery.
If a bride is seeking a magical decor element for her wedding day, fresh floral + greenery installations are sure to deliver. Plus it can be utilized throughout a wedding in MANY different ways: table runners, alter decor, welcome sign swags, crowns, chandeliers, aisle decor and even bridesmaids bouquets. While flowers forever have our hearts (occupational side effect), we can’t deny that some of our very favorite design days have involved being tangled in a box of smilax and driving scissor lifts to create the perfect greenery installation. On today’s blog we share our best “lush greenery” designs and the way our brides utilized this trend throughout their special day.
At the Westside Warehouse Erika + Blake incorporated Coral in a more subtle way using it as a pop of color against their more rich, fall color palette. When bride Sherry shared her inspiration for a hand-tied bouquet, we couldn’t help immediately falling in love. Serving as a focal point in her bouquet, surrounded by draping Pierras and seasonal vines, this whimsical garden piece perfectly complemented the pearl and lace detailing of her gown. As we’re sure most brides and industry folks have heard, the 2019 Pantone Color of the Year is Living Coral.
Throughout the reception Anna + Ian kept the winter night warm + welcoming with velvet linens, textured red accents, showstopping installations and cozy personal touches. Towards the end of 2018 we worked with one of the sweetest couples we’ve ever met alongside some of our very favorite vendor friends at one of our very favorite venues. When the vision of velvets, lush greenery + swimming candlelight came together on wedding day, we immediately knew this romantic winter evening had become one of our favorites so today, we’re sharing it with all of you! With warm lighting and elegant draping the large space seemed beautifully intimate as the couple shared vows that brought family, friends and everyone behind the scenes to tears.
