Ace of Shades by Amanda Foody

Welcome to the City of Sin, where casino families reign, gangs infest the streets…and secrets hide in every shadow. Enne Salta was raised as a proper young lady, and no lady would willingly visit New Reynes, the so-called City of Sin

Dabbling in Poetry… (Kinda)

One day i’ll stop accepting less than I deserve. I’ve wrote snippets of poetry and spoken word before, but these past few months inspiration has hit and I decided to put pen to paper… or fingers to the keyboard I guess and note down the thoughts swimming in my head

Sarah J. Maas Title Reveal!

Here is the synopsis: #1 New York Times bestselling author Sarah J. Maas launches her brand-new CRESCENT CITY series with House of Earth and Blood: the story of half-Fae and half-human Bryce Quinlan as she seeks revenge in a contemporary fantasy world of magic, danger, and searing romance. But it all comes crumbling down when a ruthless murder shakes the very foundations of the city—and Bryce’s world. As Bryce and Hunt race to untangle the mystery, they have no way of knowing the threads they tug ripple through the underbelly of the city, across warring continents, and down to the darkest levels of Hel, where things that have been sleeping for millennia are beginning to stir…

Book Review: The Wrath & The Dawn by Renee Ahdieh

When sixteen-year-old Shahrzad’s dearest friend falls victim to Khalid, Shahrzad vows vengeance and volunteers to be his next bride. She resolves to uncover whatever secrets lurk and, despite her love, be ready to take Khalid’s life as retribution for the many lives he’s stolen. The Wrath and the Dawn follows a steady pace, we have years of information to unravel and learn about Khalid and why he kills his brides and this unravels slowly. I don’t want to do a really long review, because I know you like short and to the point but the Wrath and The Dawn was a 4.5 star read for me.
