A happy collection of all things lovely and delicious. Let me be your guide to discovering your own heart's delight! XO, Stella
With New York Fashion Week hours away, I’ve started getting excited for all of the fabulous fashion inspiration to come. One of my favorite recent winter street style looks is one that I know we’ll be seeing a lot of this coming week. In this street style case, a PLAID COAT comes to the rescue and makes a very classic combination of STRAIGHT LEG JEANS, a TURTLENECK SWEATER and ANKLE BOOTS feel fresh and inspired. Here are a few more winter basics that I scouted, as well as some fun neutral plaid coats to complete the outfit.
Once you get past the weird navy blue color, the product is soothing (thank you natural botanical extracts), minimizes redness, pores and wrinkles, keeps my skin plump and radiant with not a dry spot in sight. I will say with confidence, not only is this product a mid-winter favorite, but it’s been elevated to holy grail status. Only when I cut my hair did I finally add a silk pillowcase to my beauty essentials list. The slip of the fabric is the key to all of these benefits – it doesn’t absorb oils and products from your face and hair (which can clog pores and lead to breakouts) and the low traction keeps skin from those dreaded sleep wrinkles.
It’s prime time for winter vacations and while WE are mentally ready to be on a beach with a cocktail in hand, retailers are not quite there yet when it comes to vacation-ready wardrobes. For those lucky folks with upcoming beach getaways on the calendar — first off, I’m quite jealous, but more importantly, I’ve got your back. Polka dots (I’m totally loving this TOP) and animal prints (hello, super flattering RUCHED SKIRT! ) continue to reign supreme even as the temperatures heat up. Resort 2019 trends are leaning towards fancy sandals (how gorgeous is THIS UNDER $50 PAIR? ! ) which is the perfect excuse to give your feet a rest from those heavy winter boots we’ve all grown very tired of wearing.
I just saw the forecast for next week and 3 out of 5 workdays have highs below 5 degrees and/or lows in negative double digits. If those New Year diet resolutions have seen better times, try out these ESSENTIAL OILS TO HELP CURB CRAVINGS. The Marie Kondo-inspired, minimalist, decluttering boom is not only good for your closet, but GOOD FOR YOUR HEALTH I think this WRAP SWEATER (UNDER $50) is a nice way to mix up your traditional work wear.
