Having not shopped with New Look for a long, long, long, LONG while, I was pretty impressed when I went for a little browse. It might be getting sunnier, but it’s still blimmin’ baltic out there, and so I’m grateful that I could find a warmer top that still features a very spring-time colour and print. I’m having a serious love affair with baby blue right now, and swooned when I saw the mesh, floral, duck-egg blue t-shirt. I had to size up in this top and bought a size 10, but it still isn’t what I would call ‘roomy’, but it’s comfortable, really breathable and extra girly.
Between eating Scotch Eggs, crying over who was eliminated on RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars last week and having various existential crises, I like to give myself ‘pamper nights’. My bathroom cupboard is filled to the brim with half-empty tubes of face masks; high end and high street ones. Next is Superdrug’s Purifying Witch Hazel Mud Mask, and it’s one of the cheapest multiple-use masks money can buy. It can also feel a little bit harsh on the skin, especially under the eyes because the witch hazel has a very slight burn, so just be wary of this if you’re a fellow sensitive-skinned person.
