I love the cover mainly because it’s a POC and to be honest we don’t have a lot of that in the book community. I read somewhere that the book is Maurene’s love letter to LA and it definitely lived up to its expectation. Before publishing her first book, Since You Asked, she worked in both textbook and art book publishing.
