learning in the every day
First of all: What is Red Nose Day? You might vaguely recall seeing people wearing silly, red clown noses in the name of raising money for children in poverty? That’s Red Nose Day! The Joke-Ha-Thon gives students the chance to tell—and sell—their best jokes in their classrooms, schools and communities to spread some much-needed joy and raise some life-changing cash. Why am I all into this? Because JOKES are PERFECT for writing and reading!! Get Involved in Red Nose Day’s Joke-Ha-Thon and Make a Difference in Children’s Lives I LOVED having my students read jokes each and every day
So when I was asked by the good people at T. Rowe Price to take a look at the Money Confident Kids® resources they have for school and home, you bet I was ready. There’s a Money Confident Kids magazine for middle schoolers, which was created in partnership with Junior Scholastic, and there’s one for high schoolers, created in partnership with Choices Magazine. It’s a great way for kids to put to use the skills and ideas that they’re learning about how to be more confident with money. T.
