Simply put, a capsule wardrobe is a collection of a few essential items of clothing that don’t go out of fashion, such as skirts, trousers, and coats, which can then be augmented with seasonal pieces. When I was younger, I was definitely more into trends but as the years went by and my personal style developed, I learned what worked for me and my life, what pieces lasted longer in terms of style and which pieces made sense to invest in. I believe we all need a great capsule collection in our wardrobe and so I partnered with Namshi.com to create the 20-pieces capsule collection, featuring key pieces that are essential in any wardrobe.
Welcome back to MAHRYSKA and so so happy with the new look. It took a few sleepless nights but it was well worth it coz the website is looking refreshed and absolutely gorgeous. And because I am introducing a new layout, I am giving you a splash of bright red because this color screams change – change in look (i chopped my hair), change in weather (summer is just around the corner) and change in pretty much everything else around me.

But because it comes so natural to me, I like to dip my fingers into it from time to time, by redecorating my space. So you shouldn’t be surprised if things change around my house every other season coz I flip things around. Yes, it may just be a bit too masculine for some, but I tone it down with natural material like wood, marble, gold and brass accents, a selection of plants and some fabulous jute or vintage Persian rugs and straw baskets. Will definitely share more about my interior inspirations in the future so do stay tuned coz I am super excited.
