I tend to like to try things on for myself, but it’s easy to shop for my daughter online. thredUP offers clothing and accessories for Women and Children but I ordered items only for my (one year old) daughter this time. Since the tags weren’t labeled with anything but the thredUP logo, I think they can definitely be left off. I ended up with a t-shirt, t-shirt dress and half-zip fleece from Hanna Andersson, three long-sleeve shirts from Tea and one striped dress from Splendid.

Our current dog food (Bench & Field, from Trader Joe’s) comes in a plastic bag that as far as I currently know cannot be recycled. (it’s from my Norwegian side and her Dad’s Pacific Northwest-ian side) but I’m not sure we’ll ever find a package-less version in Vermont. Not zero waste exactly, but we asked them to put everything in the compostable container bottoms and then stuck those in our own glass containers and took the food home.
