Highlights
a brain dump: social media & phases of life

desire to learn from others desire to make a career out of it but also wish i could just be completely detached from all social media. not worry about people I don't know, but just those right in directly in life not worry about an "aesthetic" feed not worry about people taking what i say the wrong way. I am ultimately going to continue using social media and I ultimately hope to make it my full-time job one of these days. Then there's the stress of my future job, maybe changing jobs, shifting my schedule post-grad but with the intent to blog/create content and the goal of a career there, as I touched on earlier. I want to work full time, make money, pay off debts, have free time for my blog/content creation, be done with all my medical appointments and be confident in the way I look.

dealing with death

it isn't fair that you were taken from us, you were the most humble, generous, loving, joyful person, you never failed to make me laugh or lift my spirits. I am sorry you were given a deadly disease, I am so proud of how you fought tirelessly and gracefully, never showing your pain. We seek joy in the little things, like the rabbits in the yard playing, the sun shining, sips of morning coffee. If you are someone who has lost a loved one, I have a newfound sense of understanding for the kind of pain you have gone through.

my morning ~ritual~

By adding Ritual vitamins into my morning, I prepare myself to tackle whatever the day brings because I know I am staying healthy, both mentally and physically. The ritual vitamins are vegan friendly, gluten free, and non-GMO. It fills the gaps for nutrient shortfalls to help maintain energy and immunity, it supports red blood cells and internal organs, helps your body utilize calcium to strengthen bones, and helps maintain tissue structure. Things will come up, things won't always go as planned, but I can count on my Ritual vitamins to be in my morning routine and to remind me that I can take care of myself, which is something I can be grateful for every day!

why i travel

I love when class offers something of personal importance; it makes it much more interesting and it is so cool when class truly adds value to my life. For me, the extent of my travels has consisted of family road trips to visit family, and a few trips to CA and parts of the East Coast. Another point I took away from the reading is how we not only see a new place and new people and these new things effect us, but the locals see us as new too And if travel is like love, it is, in the end, mostly because it’s a heightened state of awareness, in which we are mindful, receptive, undimmed by familiarity and ready to be transformed.
