Well, this summer, we had the pleasure of visiting the beautiful Istria, an undiscovered strawberry-shaped peninsula off the northern end of Croatia’s Adriatic coastline.
This region has something for everyone, from award-winning beaches to acclaimed gastronomy (prime truffles, fresh seafood and amazing olive oil), and some of Croatia’s most attractive coastal towns.
The fishing town of Novigrad, for example, is very popular amongst tourists because of its irresistible Mediterranean charm, while Motovun is a hillside town that very much resembles the beautiful hills of Tuscany.
In terms of restaurants, it is definitely worth trying Libeccio restaurant in Novigrad for its delicious seafood and beautiful view over the sea and Lanterna restaurant on St. Andrew Island, which is located in an old castle with a terrace right on the seafront.
