Yesterday I had to take a little "work trip" to the other side of the city and while getting lost and frozen in the wilds of East London, somewhere around old docks by the Thames, I stumbled upon a beach created by the rivers low tide.
We were probably somewhere halfway between City of London and Canary wharf, two places with the tallest skyscrapers, but when the last were directly visible on our left, curving of the river completely hid the others towards our right, and looking around seemed like you're ashore of the lake surrounded by the villages.
We've been in one of the biggest and busiest cities, a walk away from the centre of the world, yet it felt like completely different universe, much more peaceful and tranquil indeed.
I was thinking about my failed job assignment, falling of which was so much fun at that very present moment, thinking of how goofing around was making me genuinely happy, yet knowing once I return back
