In The Mountains Of Oregon || L + A This day included a few of my favorite things: a waterfall, hiking, marriage, and these lovely ladies. We spent the afternoon hopping from moss covered rock to moss covered rock at the base of the waterfall, wading through the ice cold waters, laughing a lot, and getting these two lovely ladies HITCHED! We were both nervous and felt slightly uncomfortable being in front of the camera, but from the second we got out of the car to prep for our hike in our dresses, we were instantly comfortable with Tori. She was down for any and all adventures which included standing IN the water at the base of a freezing cold waterfall while we exchanged vows, hiking over rocks, down ravines and trudging through creeks to get the best shots.

This colorful wedding at Loloma Lodge had a strong Wes Anderson vibe, which made it so fun to photograph! The bridesmaids all wore handmade jumpers, everyone waved pennant flags during the recessional, Avalon and Gunnar’s officiant was decked out in stylish western attire, the flowers were colorful and wild, and I’ve never heard a cooler dance party playlist. Nicolas and Laurence traveled all the way from Eastern Canada to get married on the island of Kauai. They said their vows on a cliff overlooking the Pacific Ocean, and then I got to spend the rest of the day with them, exploring Waimea Canyon and Polihale State Park! For Kendall’s senior photos, we weren’t expecting snow, hence the bare legs! The road up Cascade Lakes Highway closes at the beginning of winter, so it’s pretty rare to get to shoot at Sparks Lake with snow! Want to see more snowy senior photos?
