I am also going to share my do it your self home spa experience with a hot eucalyptus steam shower routine, filled with my favourite eucalyptus products. The ingredients aren’t as clean as I would like them to be, but they use essential oils to create the scent, it has shea butter and coca butter as well as good old vitamin E. These are all great ingredients for the skin; it has moisturizing, healing and invigorating benefits as well as anti-aging, healing and soothing properties, so loads of great benefits in there! What you will need: Body Scrub ( I uses Basd coffee scrub I also have a good Arbonne one) Tie a few eucalyptus branches to your shower head, this adds a lovely eucalyptus scent to your showers! You can increase this effect by running a hot shower and adding a few drops of eucalyptus essential oil into your shower drain or if you don’t want to do this you could light a eucalyptus candle or run your oil diffuser with eucalyptus oil.

The front reception is surrounded by loads of local and natural beauty goodies, including face, body and make up products including brands like Province Apothecary and Elate cosmetics So what makes this pedicure unlike anything I have experienced is the fact that it is done while you lie down on a heated massage bed, tucked in a blanket with a calming eye mask. Well when I first came into the room, I was instructed to soak my feet in warm water, then lay down on the massage bed, from there one of my feet was uncovered and worked on, beginning with an exfoliation and then then cuticle clean up, trim and finally both feet and legs were massaged! They have so many amazing services on their website and, of course, as the name suggests, The Wax Lounge provides waxing services.

This past week I had the opportunity to experience a couple’s Hot Stone Massage at one of Hamilton’s newest spas, Aroma Day Spa. This spa, conveniently located on Queenston road in Stoney Creek, offers full relaxation packages, including; massages, facials, manicures, pedicures, hair removal, and a beautiful sauna. We were given a tour of the facility, which is beautifully renovated and included a beautiful manicure station, beautiful pedicure chairs, several massage rooms, VIP rooms (which included two massage tables, pedicure chairs, and a shower), and an amazing sauna. I loved my experience at Aroma Day Spa and I am lucky enough to be bringing you an opportunity to experience it for yourself.
