Natural Skincare for a Glowy Holiday

It’s super moisturizing, and great for those super dry winter days. The best natural mascara I have found so far is also by 100% Pure, and it’s the Fruit Pigmented Ultra Lengthening Mascara in Black Tea. If you haven’t heard of body butter before, it’s basically a very thick lotion that’s perfect for rubbing on your arms and legs. It’s Primally Pure’s Lavender Deodorant.

Love Your Lunch (With Kelly LeVeque) + Recipes!

In the lunchroom at school, I see a lot of girls eating low-fat foods or counting calories because they think that will help them lose weight. We chatted about what a healthy lunch really looks like, and the many misconceptions facing girls and their food. All of the sweets I make myself are really low in unrefined sugar and high in protein, so they don’t give me a blood sugar spike and sugar rush. Here’s an idea for your first healthy, Fab Four lunch: Chocolate-nut butter muffins, tuna salad, turkey-lettuce wraps and chopped veggies.

What Is the Ketogenic Diet and How Do You Get Started On It? (Guest Post by Louise Hendon)

For a more detailed list of foods to eat on Keto (as well as foods to avoid), check out the Keto diet food list here. In fact, your diet won’t change much from Paleo if you focus on doing keto the healthy way by eating lots of unprocessed nutrient-dense whole foods. As the keto diet is much lower in carbohydrate levels, you’ll be avoiding starchy vegetables like sweet potatoes as well as Paleo sugars and sweet things like honey, maple syrup, and dried fruits. It’s a way of optimizing your existing grain-free or Paleo diet to get rid of sugar cravings and drop some more weight.

My Trip To Italy: Pasta, Running, and Natural Beauty

As I am on the train now to France, passing the rolling hills and grape vineyards of the Tuscan countryside, I find myself already reminiscing about the amazing trip I had in Italy. The food, running, nature, sights, food, and food were so incredible, and I feel the need to tell you all about it. After being 100% gluten-free for six years, I decided to eat a little bit of gluten in Europe and see how it would go. The highlight of my entire time in Tuscany was definitely taking a pasta-making class out in the countryside with Vilma, a renowned pasta chef.
