In this 13 minute video, you’ll learn how to set up your Google Drive Teacher Planner for lesson planning success! You’ll learn how to make the planner uniquely yours by adding pages, master pages, a master file, monthly overviews, weekly templates, daily pages, guided reading pages, and pages specific to your teaching. By the end of the 14 minutes, you’ll be ready to start entering your lesson plans. And each week it will become easier and easier and it will SAVE YOU TIME!
Now, I know this won’t fit on the cart but having it somewhere you can get to easily is very nice. This allows you to have a nice white background that is “dull” (won’t compete with your product) and is usually big enough for any product we sell either in our own shop or on Teachers Pay Teachers. Along with the poster board, I like having a white trifold display board. One more tool that is not necessarily a photography tool, but some thing I love having on hand is my washi tape, painter’s tape, and clear tape.
The video shows the Daily Lesson Planner Template in my Google Drive Teacher Planner download. Although this shows the daily page, the download I have in my shop has a TON of other templates like weekly lesson planning pages (you choose whether you want the days of the weeks on the side or at the top), guided reading templates, guided math templates, writing workshop, anecdotal notes, grade book and on and on. In this video, I show you how to easily add columns, add color, change font style, add an image, add links, and show different ways you can view the plans. If you are looking to “go digital” or customize a bit more than what is included in the download, this video is for you.
