6 Tips for Wedding Season Travel

We are in the midst of wedding season and I am just a few days away from flying to my first wedding of the year! But it isn’t always rainbows and sunshine traveling to a wedding, so I’ve come up with a list of tips to share with you: Not only are wedding themselves expensive but the guests who are flying in for the occasion don’t have it cheap either. A few summers ago I traveled to Czech for my cousin’s wedding  and made sure to pack my gown for the wedding with me in my backpack. You don’t want to arrive at your destination and find out the airline lost your baggage and your outfit for the wedding.

Brunch at Mon Ami Gabi

Between the epic pool parties, clubs and casinos of Las Vegas there are also a number of good food spots. Located at the base of the Eiffel tower (the mini Vegas one,)  Mon Ami Gabi transports you to a classic French bistro. I like a plate of waffles or pancakes drenched in maple syrup but after having eaten so much unhealthy food the day before I was craving something healthy and fresh. Overall Mon Ami Gabi was a wonderful place to eat and from our table we could look up at the Eiffel tower.

Las Vegas Adventure Essentials

With a schedule packed full with the graduation ceremony, pool party, going out in the city of sin and mother’s day brunch it was a bit tricky knowing what to pack This dress was the perfect look for a night out in Las Vegas. if you are going to a pool party while in Vegas make sure to bring a cute swimsuit. Heels – a night out in Las Vegas requires the perfect dress and of course heels.

A Day at the Races

Last weekend I watched the horse races at Santa Anita Park in Arcadia, California (close to LA). This wasn’t my first time at Santa Anita Park, years ago when I was about eleven or twelve One major difference between Arlington and Santa Anita is the size, I didn’t realize just how big the grounds were at the Santa Anita Park. Less than half a decade later the famous horse Seabiscuit won the 1940 Santa Anita race (the movie Seabiscuit was filmed at the tracks in 2002).
