When you homeschool, it’s important to keep things flexible while homeschool planning. In fact, if you can’t be flexible in your schedule you are setting yourself up for failure
But math doesn’t have to be your homeschool downfall, it doesn’t have to be that big floppy homeschool mom fail. You know, if something isn’t going well subject wise in homeschool, don’t speak negatively about it. I have homeschooling friends and family that don’t know how to make math work for their families. Just imagine going from a family who can’t stand math to a family that can’t wait to do math on a daily basis.
Whether you are playing an instrument, learning the lyrics to a new song or simply dancing to your favorite tune, music has been proven to be quite beneficial for brain development. For your homeschooling kids, introducing them to music early on can help strengthen their social and emotional skills and even help them develop discipline and hard work. The feeling of accomplishment that comes with learning a new song gives the kids more confidence for learning and improving their communication skills. Learning music allows your kids to think out of the box Not only does music help kids to build discipline and conquer fears, it also prepares them for the new creative economy.
