As Catholics, we know not only that struggle is a critical part of mortal life but that it is, also, an opportunity for redemption and the offering up of sacrifices for sanctification, salvation and other Graces, according to God’s Will. Our faith is so deeply rich, wise and time tested; every aspect of human, spiritual and emotional life is addressed via Scripture, Tradition and the Roman Catholic teachings. The Ignited By Truth Conference plays an integral role in the local community by instructing attendees on the solid teachings of our Roman Catholic Church as grounded in our Magisterium. Once upon a time the Ignited by Truth Catholic Conference was simply a thought in the minds of a few Catholic homeschooling mothers. Having experienced the benefits from their attendance at another Catholic conference, they were inspired to create something equally as faithful and dynamic closer to home. Though the initial idea was the brain-child of a small group, the actual development and implementation of that idea required the work of many hands. From the Volunteer Sign-up Page you can sign-up to help at a speaker table, commit to an hour in the IBT adoration chapel and/or sign-up to fill a number of other volunteer positions.
I wonder how God worked in their lives: did He heal their bodies or give them peace in their suffering, did He fill a need or lessen the desire for a material good, did He change a situation or the person’s perspective of it. Like a tassel on His cloak, she saw my prayers as a thread through which His grace and power could flow. I may never know how Jesus answered Frances, or the other strangers for whom I’ve prayed, but I am confident that He did. Just as Jesus said to the woman healed from a hemorrhage, so too He will undoubtedly say to Frances and to everyone who places all of their hope in Him,
I am almost ready to graduate from college seminary. The last four years have taught me a great many lessons and have helped form me into a candidate for the priesthood
