On the 12th I was given the opportunity by Jimmy’s Ormonde to come experience their new showcase dishes for the season at their new store! For example, instead of normal fried chips they’ve made sure to add their own special element and made Cheesy fried chips with a hint of tomato and pepper, unless you want your normal fried chips of course! The way that Jimmy’s is so good at adding that extra special to everything they do, they even their own unique flavours to their coffee. I really had a great time at Jimmy’s and would urge that if you are ever around Ormonde you go visit their store for an overwhelming experience for your taste buds! !

With summer being right around the corner, I’ve been looking for work wear that can accommodate the heat. Since I was going for more of a summery look I decided to style the dress with some really comfortable black sandals I got from Jet Fashion. The bag I’m holding is literally from JHB CBD, I spotted it one day on my way home and fell right in love What I love about the whole outfit is how simple and free it actually is. I also love the simplicity, you’re literally wearing one piece but it looks sophisticated enough that you can walk into the office without feeling bad.

The #walkitoff campaign is a campaign that cools down the heat in our awkward embarrassing moments and brings all the laughter to the table, drop some ice on that heat! Last week Thursday I was invited to the re-launch of Tomy Takkies at the Goliath Comedy Club with entertainment from the likes of Trevor Gumbi who invited four other Jozi’s finest and upcoming comedians to come and battle it off with a roast! Trevor Gumbi said in the beginning nothing is to be taken personal, just #walkitoff John Harman, the CEO of Bata Shoes South Africa says that we need learn to stop taking ourselves seriously as South Africans and see the humor in all situations! This is one of the best events I’ve been to because Tomy was able to integrate awkward moments with laughter.
