I almost feel like people are using this stay-at-home order as an excuse to do nothing but binge-watch Netflix, play video games all day, and scroll through TikTok. Personally, I love having the actual physical copy, because then I can write in notes, highlight, and it looks fantastic on my bookshelf! If you don’t care for the physical copy, or don’t have the “time to sit and read”, an audiobook would be the best fit for you. I look at my savings, transfer money within accounts, budget, and write out what good things I did and add up the bad spendings.
Already you’re inviting outside influence and stress to your day, and you haven’t even gotten out of bed yet! One thing that I love about morning routines, is I get time to focus on myself and set the mood for my day. Start out by choosing 3 tasks that will help you start your morning with the focus on yourself. Don’t pick up your phone until those 3 tasks are completed!
I think exercise is very important and should be eventually done 5-6 days a week. Mix up the days between recovery, weights, HIIT, cardio, yoga, pilates, etc. So to start off this week, I just want you to challenge yourself and exercise for a good 45min-1hour, two times this week! The next couple weeks push it to 3 days of exercise and 1 day of stretching- or walking.
Self-love to me means you accept yourself as you are. Now let’s talk about self-love, towards your body. There is a difference between good food and GOOD food. You know, like the difference between a McDonald’s meal and a homemade hamburger!
