But, we did get in one fun Florida day trip road trip in there! So this Airboat ride is not taking you into the land of nothing but gators but into the Everglades Mangroves. Back in the day when my great grandma grew up living in Chokoloskee, she got to school which was in Everglades City by boat. Chokoloskee had no land connecting it to Everglades City for many years.

But we do always have tons of fall festivities going on, like corn mazes and fall festivals to help bring in the season. Vs a few years back when hubby and I got lost, the lady came in from the finish asking if we needed help. I made sure to climb up the chair for a last photo op, then he decided to channel his inner kid and wrangle some fake cattle which he failed miserable at… but, check out that determination on his face. Now we are going to get into my favorite time of year with tons of holiday festivities coming your way on the blog! !

Let’s hear it for New York, New York, New York. We flew in on Thursday, checked into the hotel early, caught a train to the city a minute before it left, and then made our way through the city till dark. So we’re in NEW YORK CITY. We were now over the city and realized we are not city people.

I am sure that doesnt sound cold to many of you, but when you enter from 95 degree weather on the ground into it, its pretty darn cold. We also cannot forget we HAD to stop for some amazing boiled peanuts on the side of 19 around Fanning Springs area. You can also come in contact with otters, maybe a snake ( I know it freaks me out too! ), but hey, we swim in the ocean where we usually cant see beneath us! So far I have been to the two above, Fanning & Hart, Weeki Wachee, Rainbow, Manatee, & Ginny Springs.
