The Daily Varnish

This week was spirit week at work and Monday was Camo day. I’ve never been terribly interested in camo until the beginning of Taylor Swift’s Reputation Era (yes, it’s true, I own a camo jacket & it is surprisingly stylish) It’s a look that definitely looks better from afar, my picture’s were taken indoors, my nails aren’t in top shape –

It’s my first snow day of the school year – It was a $15 Black Friday special as it normally retails for $18. Is it worth $15 or $18? I did a wear test and I’m pretty sure I should get some sort of crown or sash or trophy for that.

I’ve tried the wraps a few times since and I’m still happy with them. I got sidetracked, the big thing is this: I’m excited again – and I’m thankful that Jamberry spurred on this renewed passion for ALL things nail related. I’m going to give this whole Jamberry thing about 3 months. I’ve never worked retail, I’m not GOOD at being that person, that person that would be successful at this sort of thing.

Fall is slipping through my fingers and I’d be doing you a complete disservice if I didn’t review some of the beauties from Deborah Lippmann’s Fall 2016 Collection: One of my favorite things about Deborah Lippmann is that she shares the inspiration behind each collection and I adore the inspiration for this collection: Daring. The core collection has four polishes: Love Hangover, After Midnight, Wild Thing, and Smoke Gets Alli and I split the collection and I scored Love Hangover, Smoke Gets in Your Eyes, and Out of The Woods.
