I make my home in Alaska - an ideal place to witness extraordinary beauty on a daily basis. The greatest reward that my photography has given me is the gift to see and truly appreciate. My work is powered by passion. My wish is to share it with you.
With all the traveling we did this year, and time spent away from Alaska, I wasn’t sure if I would be able to put together a calendar. But I am happy to announce that my 2018 Alaska photographic calendar is available for purchase. Like last year, I am working with an online company, who is selling my calendar through a storefront, so you can order from there directly. I created a separate webpage, with more detailed information, especially for those of you who have ordered a calendar from me in the past.
We hired a young man to take care of lawn maintenance while we were gone, but that was only to mow the grass – not to do any extensive yard work. It’s nice to spend the day in the fresh air and sunshine, and come in each night hungry and exhausted. A month after arriving home to Alaska, we towed the camper to Valdez for a week of fishing (rain), beautiful scenery (rain), and best of all – rainbows! We learned several years ago that the best time to visit Valdez is just after Labor Day, when tourist season officially comes to an end.
I always made sure to be home by the time Steve woke for work (or came home from work, depending on his shift). old*. We don’t feel old, and I know a lot of you don’t feel old either! The vet didn’t say it’s cancer, but we haven’t ruled anything out. This hasn’t helped Steve’s anxiety levels either.
