I am in full on baby mode here, my friends. I have two baby showers coming up at the beginning of May, I am finally forcing myself to buy maternity clothes because let’s face it, the baby bump is getting big, and I am working like crazy to get the nursery together

We just had our baby bed delivered last week and it’s taking everything in me not to rip open the box, put it together, and stare at it all day long. Until then, I am planning on dismantling and finding new homes for some of the things in our vintage guest bedroom, that will need clearing out to make room for this little babe. My $35 antique Jenny Lind twin bed is my absolute favorite purchase ever, and will hopefully be reused later on when our little one is old enough for a big kid bed. This guest room also doubled as my office, so I will have to find a new home for my little desk too.

My precious little baby bump just turned twenty weeks, and here I am in disbelief that I am already halfway through this pregnancy. If this is how quickly time passes when you have kids, I don’t want to blink an eye! In just four and a half months I get to hold this miracle in my arms, and that thought alone brings so many happy tears to my eyes, I can’t even handle it

Spring has sprung! Well, it has on the blog at least, maybe not so much outside yet. I officially can’t do winter anymore
