Perfect for a meal prep idea, that you can keep in the freezer and eat when those hunger pains kick in, and with the added protein, they make a great after workout treat. Press into silicon donut moulds tightly and place in the freezer to set for at least 45 minutes. Pour the mixture into a bowl and remove the donuts from the freezer and dip each one into the mixture then twist 90 degrees and remove. Place each iced donut on a flat lined surface and put back in the freezer to set for another 1/2 hour.

The rich, deep purple was actually achieved by combining the Pink Pitaya powder used for the pink layer and the Butterfly Pea Flower powder (both from Just Blends). When you stir through some activated butterfly pea flower (I add some warm water to it) into the pitaya powder the colour is transformed into a purple, much like mixing paint colours! !
