An Organic-Inspired Blog for the Modern Woman
Henry and I often find ourselves glued to our iPhones, scrolling endlessly through that deep dark trap that is social media in those precious final moments right before bedtime. To ease into this cell phone free zone is by ending your day with a digital detox bath. Pursoma, Jane Inc. and Dr. Singha’s Mustard Bath are three of the most powerful ways to transform an ordinary bath into a super cleansing and balancing experience by eliminating waste and even balancing your pH. I would suggest making the bath as hot as you can deal, and stay in there for 30 minutes minimum. Make sure to drink a lot of water (the more water you drink the more you will detoxify) and then ALSO follow up your bath with a super hydrating oil.
Just like we all care so much about what we put into our bodies, like buying organic apples and hormone-free whatever, we need to pay the same close attention to our beauty products – everything from skincare, haircare, makeup and even for the hardcore, perfume. I am inspired by my girlfriend who has very sensitive skin, and she finds organic and natural beauty products make her break out and give her allergic reactions. But in the meantime, I want to share with you my favorite natural products that I took with me to Switzerland that I am the most excited to use in my new home – for the best skin possible. Below are my absolute favorite organic, all-natural and non-toxic products that comply with my not-so-scientific-yet-get-the-mother-effing-job-done criteria.
As a newly engaged bride-to-be, I’m well into the wedding planning process and thought I might use my blog as a forum to offer some fun and (hopefully) useful advice for the big day. The Wedding Series will be how I share a my ideas and tips for making your wedding special and, of course, beautiful. I’m lucky enough to have hired a wedding planner that I’m confident will bring to life my ultimate vision, and create a memorable weekend to celebrate love, marriage, family and friendships. Since I’m a fan of sticking to what you know when it comes to gifting, I’m giving my girls the gift of beauty and I think you should too.
Whether it’s for a Secret Santa party, a hostess gift or to be wrapped and placed under the tree for the fam, here’s what I think you should be buying (and receiving) this holiday season: Tom Ford Lips and Boys Collection – There’s something for everyone in Tom Ford’s limited edition collection of all 50 mini lipsticks.
