Sarah and Ryan’s Thomas Fogarty wedding weekend kicked off with a Mehndi party at Sarah’s childhood home in Fremont. This was the start of a beautiful fusion wedding featuring cultural touches of Pakistan, California and Pittsburgh

Jennie & Ryan’s Mill Valley Outdoor Art Club wedding kicked off with an intimate Vietnamese tea ceremony. After Jennie got ready in the bridal room, Ryan arrived with his family to present gifts & offerings to Jennie’s family. Following this opening tradition, both Jennie & Ryan paid respect to their elder family members by pouring tea, and receiving jewelry, red envelopes, and kind words in exchange. Later in the evening, Jennie and Ryan changed back into their traditional outfits for a first dance, finishing the night of their Mill Valley Outdoor Art Club wedding on the dance floor.

As guests trickled in and down the the ceremony site, the wedding party took a little bit of a breather and cooled off inside the barn. Cathy & Johnson shared personal vows where they reminisced on their courtship and identified the traits that drew the other in, as well as shared experiences that lead them to this day. Post-ceremony, we spent a little time with portraits before the newlyweds arrived via Nestldown’s mini-train to the cocktail hour. Following the final toast, all retreated inside the barn for dancing to finish out Cathy & Johnson’s Nestledown wedding day.

I always encourage couples to make sure they are focused on their big day and Joy and Jose took that advice to heart at their Bridges Golf Club Wedding. Their Bridges Golf Club wedding ceremony was held on the lawn with a picturesque view to the hills and homes in the distance. Opting for a more traditional experience, Jose’s first glimpse of Joy was from afar as she stepped out of the Pro Shop with her parents and headed down the aisle. The reception was held in the Bridges Golf Club House — a beautiful structure with elegant chandeliers.
