Presidents’ Day is coming up! Sort of. Victor and I are still deciding if we want to go anywhere this year
I started playing sand volleyball a lot more in the last couple years (I still can’t believe how much time has gone by), and that’s one hell of a full body workout. BEFORE I started the “warm-up” workout schedule…if I had to estimate I would say that my beginning state was very similar to what it was when I first started PIIT28 back in the day: I think 4 days into Chloe Ting’s pre-program workouts is when I took the following picture: I think the videos get reused over the course of the 30 days, which is fine since at least the exercises in each video itself aren’t super repetitive.
Initially, when I heard the term “wood watch,” I didn’t really know what to expect. After browsing Jord’s website, though, I came across the perfect watch! ! The Cassia watches are absolutely gorgeous (not that the other ones aren’t, but this one was exactly what I was looking for). I was initially worried about them looking tacky, especially on my small wrist, but I’m in love with my Cassia watch!
The town within the Kasbah was super pretty – almost like a mini version of Chefchaouen (the blue city, featured in Day 2). We also got to visit a art/craft center outside the medina, where we saw what goes into making the amazing mosaics and ceramic pieces that Morocco is known for. It’s quite the climb to get up to the Kasbah, but Hassan found us another great local guide who walked us through and gave us a good overview of the history there. The two main sights (which we both hit) are the Hassan II mosque and Rick’s Cafe (made famous by the movie Casablanca, which I still need to see).
