if you’re anything like me, you start going on the hunt for new quick things to eat for breakfast. They offered to send me some of their new Gluten Free Power Breakfast - which they say is “like oatmeal but better! ANYWAY it was actually pretty good, especially for someone like me that doesn’t really even like oatmeal. The GFB also has other great products that I love, such as their bars (see my Instagram post on them HERE).
So when I got a message on Instagram from the one and only Gluten Free Philly about this new place, of course I had to immediately run to check it out! Haddonfield Donut Company has these beautiful and amazing stuffed donuts and I was SO happy to find out that they have a dedicated gluten free pre station, fryer, and decorating area. I’ve gotten really used to gluten free donuts just tasting like cakes in donut form, or really dense and dry. Philly area, PLEASE go check them out and support local gluten free spots so they can stick around and fuel my study-inspired binge eating!
But when Wholly Wholesome offered to send me some samples to try, I mustered up as much energy as I possibly could and made some yummy stuff! I looked around a bunch of their products and found this frozen pizza dough at Mom’s Organic Market. Wheat free, dairy free, casein free, egg free, soy free, peanut free, tree nut free and sesame free! ! ! I was still feeling a little apprehensive to make a whole pizza, so I saw that they had some other recipe ideas on their website (see HERE) and decided to split the dough in half and make the garlic knots and the deep dish pizza bites.
BUT i decided to hop over here to the official blog to tell you about a cool new product that was sent to me from Explore Cuisine (thanks guys! ). As you guys know, I’m ALWAYS honest about how I feel about the products that I review (and I’m upfront with any company about this too) but legitimately this tasted so much like angel hair pasta. I made it really simply with just some olive oil, garlic, salt, lemon pepper, and crushed red pepper and added some sautéed asparagus (that I literally just dumped out of a frozen bag from Trader Joes). Explore Cuisine has a lot of other varieties like Mung Bean and Black Bean and Red Lentil etc etc etc the list goes on!
