Raise your hand if you have a ton of little games floating around your house. It doesn’t look like a diaper caddy. This way nothing gets lost in the bottom of the bag and it keeps any little accessories I may need handy. And of course bonus points for the side pockets to store game rules, notepads, and a pen for scoring.
This beverage bag from Homegoods is THE best thing I’ve used in a long time! Obviously, it doesn’t have to be the same bag, but the concept is what I love. I love it because it’s not bulky like a cooler, but it’s a festive way to transport beverages from place to place! It could hold countless items–water bottles, alcohol, juice boxes for kids, containers for party favors.
So my best friend Sarah hosts a bunch of fantastic bloggers (and me) to share our favorite things this week. It’s a nice way to get everyone excited for what’s to come–holiday shopping. And finally, the best topcoat I’ve ever used on a project goes to General Finishes Topcoat in flat. It goes on beautifully, keeps the true color of the paint, AND is a true flat.
Six weeks seems like a long time to work on a project until you factor in my full-time job and my lack of energy after I get home from said full-time job. The One Room Challenge came along and basically propelled that gnawing idea going on in my mind. I’ve had shelves here for years, but with the bookshelves, it was well…a lot of shelves. Painting the bookshelves, painting the dresser, and installing the cork board wall were the hard parts.
