College Sophomores to participate in the Financial Services Institute Program to receive training and coaching from industry experts WASHINGTON, DC, March 12, 2019 FSI invites top college sophomores of color to participate in a series of in-person and virtual training sessions to help prepare them for a career in financial services. The FSI Program will not only gather underrepresented students, talented mentors and diverse business leaders, but also contribute to the recently announced Advancing Black Pathways goal of increasing Black student hiring over the next five years. The Financial Services Institute (FSI) is an early example of our recently-announced Advancing Black Pathways commitment,” said Matt Mitro, Global Head of Campus Recruiting at JPMorgan Chase.
On January 26, 2019, at 10 a.m., the program will launch at KIPP Newark Collegiate Academy (129 Littleton Ave, Newark, NJ 07103) with students in the 9th, 10th and 11th grade, embarking on a year-long journey of growth and development in the business and STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) fields of study. Leadership Development Institute (LDI), hosted by Procter and Gamble (P&G) and presented by FedEx, takes place July 19 through July 21, 2018, at the Duke Energy Convention Center in Cincinnati, Ohio. Over the course of three days, more than 500 underrepresented, diverse graduating seniors will gather from around the country to engage in workshops, leadership development, networking forums and unconscious bias training to prepare them for life after college.
