When I found out that hair barrettes are coming back, I said to myself “Perfect There’s classic European barrettes if you’re looking for a elegant look. After going to Las Vegas more than a handful of times, a trip along the strip becomes redundant, so it’s nice to go some where off the strip and isn’t expected of Las Vegas. Just a 20 minute drive from the Las Vegas strip is a large art installation created by renowned Swiss Artist, Ugo Rondinone. A flat piece of desert land in Henderson, Nevada, the Swiss artist created a larger than life art sculpture  that consists of massive stones painted in bright colors, piled on top of each other like a totem pole. During my trip here I was able to explore Zabriskie Point, Artist’s Drive and the Mesquite Sand Dunes.

When I walked in the hotel I noticed the large common area lined with blue lounges and velvet couches. The hotel is equipped with the necessary amenities: free Wi-Fi, a 24 hour gym, an event space, an outdoor courtyard, and an on-site cafe and restaurant for your dining needs. The hotel offers standard double rooms, deluxe queen rooms, deluxe queen rooms, junior suites, and a penthouse rooftop suite. The valet parking comes with a charge, but it’s worth it because of the lack of street parking in that area and car break-ins are common in that area.

In this photoshoot I invited two of my favorite blogger gal pals, Brianna and Elisabeth, to showcase their interpretation of the perfect NYE outfit and I’m sure you’ll be just obsessed with them as I was! For my NYE look, I wanted to boast a suit because I wanted to wear something that was feminine yet strong. Although the velvet suit stands out on its own, I wanted to accent the outfit with a statement jewelry to take the outfit to the next level.
