The CWDS Comms Team has posted materials from the CWS-CARES Core County Kick-Off meeting on January 28, 2021. (https://cwds.ca.gov/QandA) and the CWS-CARES Service Areas and Assigned Core Constituents (https://cwds.ca.gov/cws_cares_service_areas). Although not presented during the kick-off meeting, also posted to the CWDS website and of great interest to the counties, is the updated CWDS Roadmap (https://cwds.ca.gov/project_roadmap). Action Required Review the CWS-CARES Core County Kick-Off meeting materials and other CWS-CARES documentation and share them with county staff.
CWS and Probation SPOCs and Technical Contacts: The daily CDSS LIS server maintenance has been added to the CWDS calendar (https://cwds.ca.gov/events). During each day’s scheduled maintenance users may experience connectivity issues impacting CARES-Live Facility Search. Action Required Review the CWDS Calendar (https://cwds.ca.gov/events) for CWS/CMS and CARES-Live events and maintenance.
These Fuzzy Reports assist with data cleanup by providing a greater number of potential duplication matches, using “fuzzy” matching criteria, than would be possible on the more restricted results on the semi-annual merge reports. The CARES-Live team has scheduled maintenance to the CARES-Live Training Environment on Friday, January 29, 2021 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Users will not be able to access the CARES-Live Training Environment during the scheduled outage. If users experience any issues with CARES-Live Training Environment, please follow your county process for reporting issues or you may contact the CARES Service Desk at 1-855-292-3444 or via email at Servicedesk@cwds.ca.gov during normal business hours. You may also email after hours and a Service Desk representative will contact you the next business day.
