My blog is about family life and asks the question, "Are we normal?" I'm afraid the answer is, "Yes, you are more normal than you think." Some good clean fun, kind of like "The Family Circus" comic strip only with more trips to the Emergency Room.
But touch the broken and the hungry and the hurting and the thirsty and the busted, and you touch a bit of Christ…Suffering is where God gives the most healing intimacy. Ann Voskamp, The Way of Abundance For Jesus, the broken place must have been the Mount of Olives, which held the sacred Garden of Gethsemane that beckoned Him to get alone and pray. Up There Easter is just a couple weeks away, but as Christians we celebrate it every day, right? It was easy to make, everyone got to add their own touches and it cost pretty much the same as making one large one like the picture above. Small pebbles from Floral dept(one bag was plenty for three)Grass seed (we have enough left over for the bare patch in our yard)Small twigs and Large rock (smaller than a child’s fist) from the yard1. Glue small twigs to form three crosses (hot glue works best)7. Watch and wait for new life (grass) to spring forth! It’s a beautiful reminder that He is Risen!

An easy tip: We fold warm, fluffy beach towels and pull dried swimsuits directly from the laundry and store them in the pool bag.
