I work in tech and I travel at the same time. Call me a digital nomad and follow me around the world!
If you’re hiking around town and need to find a place to eat, check out this list of the best restaurants on Oahu. Happy Days: A traditional place in Kaimuki where the wait staff doesn’t speak English, they wear maroon vests. * Happy Days: A traditional place in Kaimuki where the wait staff doesn’t speak English, they wear maroon vests. This is a great place to celebrate a special occasion and I love the old-school feel of the restaurant.
Over the years, this blog has been my personal outlet and digital journal where I showcased the latest happenings in my life and adventures Over the years, it evolved into a travel and digital nomad blog for quite a number of years. I’ve settled in Hawaii now for three years and while I still travel, writing about travel at 23 isn’t as appealing as it used to be at 33 If any of you follow me on social media, you’ll begin to notice that while I still love to travel and explore new destinations, being in one place has allowed me to take part in my community and (at the risk of sounding cheesy) be a more active part of the world and “doing good.
I recently spent two weeks solo driving around New Zealand’s North Island and South Island! To get from North Island to South Island, I recommend a domestic flight and to fly to Christchurch since that’s a good starting point for your South Island journey. A word for the wise: Even in summer, the south island (especially Queenstown) is because we’re closer to the South Pole. This hike can be done in a long day hike but recommend it as an overnight.
After signing up for your jump in Queenstown city, you’ll have the option or drive yourself or take the bus! The Bungy Bus departs from the Queenstown Bungy Centre, corner of Shotover and Camp streets in Queenstown. Once you’re at the Kawarau Bridge Bungy site, you’ll get weighed again and given a chance to go to the bathroom. Once you’re up at the front, you’re wired up with an ankle and waist safety harness.
