One of the biggest and probably most apparent effects that the pandemic has had on customer service and management is the ability to connect with our customers and employees personally, in the traditional sense, which has been completely upended. People meet virtually for work meetings and team happy hours and, with the reduced travel time to/from the office, have more time to sit down and work with customers at any time of day. As consultants here at BIAS, we have been on the fortunate end with our ability to continue doing our day-to-day jobs remotely without many hiccups in our transition. BIAS has worked hard to ensure we have all the necessary tools to succeed with our new day-to-day work life.

BIAS takes the approach to health and wellness a step further, by creating a well rounded and all-encompassing program that takes into account not only physical health but that of mental, emotional and financial health too. The BIAS Fit program is a holistic approach to a health and wellness program. Well, BIAS offers in-office stress-relieving perks like ping pong tournaments (a very physical activity as it turns out), chair massages, yoga classes and volunteer days outside in local nature gardens and parks. BIAS did just that by creating the BIAS Fit Ambassador program, where employees nominate each other every month based on accomplishments or goal achievements a fellow employee has made.

On our old system, it was a 10-day process to close the books which involved lots of manual invoicing, manual journal entries, data extracts from all the other different systems.
