Since qualifying as a yoga teacher in 2016, I have been offered to teach numerous surf & yoga style retreats, all abroad and actually mostly in South/Central America. The retreat will be run over a weekend, and include  ‘Own Your Space’, a new workshop I am teaching, about self confidence not only in your practice and body, but in all aspects of your life, daily surf lessons, morning sea swims, vinyasa style classes as well as a more restorative/meditative evening practice, and walks on the Pembrokeshire coast path, right on our doorstep. To come on this retreat, you just need to be a good person looking for a bloody awesome weekend of yoga, surf, sea swimming and building a community of likeminded beautiful people. The accommodation is bunkhouse style, situated a couple hundred meters back from the coast path above Caerfai, with views over St Brides Bay, out to Skomer and Grassholm Island.

As much as I joke that this looks like pond water, I have 1 to 2 of these every day, always 1 in the morning Number 2: I’m not sure what to call this other than Almond Butter Cacoa Deliciousness 1 big tablespoon on almond/peanut butter. Bro shake, you will need: 1 scoop vanilla plant based protein (I use the Super Elixir one and I hate how expensive it is, as its really delicious. For anyone wondering, the kilner jars are from amazon, and yes, I can feel safe putting my Daily Pond and my laptop in the same bag for uni!

I was planning on spending the New Year in Cornwall, but due to my current spinal injury, I ended up welcoming in the New Year back in my home county, Pembrokeshire. Initially it was a little frustrating, but ultimately so nice to spend more time with family and friends than I have for a good while. A lot of my time there was stressful, trying to find out exactly what was wrong with my back/body, switching meds, quite an emotional rollercoaster. The dip pictured here was a much mellower venture into Solva harbour under the watchful eye of Rosie The Dog.

Although I don’t looooove making food the way some people do, I am rather fond of eating food. Since then, the ball game has developed, with some pretty wild flavours and a couple broken crappy blenders (warning: don’t break your blender). These days, I usually will eat a couple to give my the energy to get out of bed (yup, I put them on my bedside table before I go to sleep), then maybe snack on a few more throughout the day. Cacao Powder (you could use cocoa) Handful of Cacoa Nibs (for crunch, also optional) 100g of Cashews (or nut of your choice) Blend up your Me Julie’s, with a little water.
