A couple of weeks ago, I attended the Interior Design Show opening night party in Toronto. It was a fun evening full of great food, drinks, and design
I bought my camel wrap coat many years ago. Although it’s vintage and tagless, it’s a classic coat, so it looks modern every year. I like pairing it with black and cream, naturally, but it also looks great with plaid or a solid, vibrant colour. If you’re looking for a similar coat, this one from Cuyana looks nearly identical to mind.
Over the years, I have received regular emails and blog post comments from people who are wondering where I got the end tables that are in my living room. They must have a couple of quotes of white paint at this point because every so often, they need a refresh! If you’re keen on acquiring similar pieces, then this post is for you. I’ve scoured online shops to find end tables in a similar style.
An event that many in the Canadian design community look forward to every winter is the Interior Design Show (IDS) held each January in Toronto. I have a great time every year – learning about what’s new and upcoming in design; meeting talented artists, creators, and designers; and sharing ideas and commentary with friends. IDS begins on Thursday, January 17th (first trade day) with some keynote speakers and the opening night party (open to the public). The company is also showing off the results of the design competition where students from Vancouver’s LaSalle College designed the IDS information desk.
